.

Position/Profile Title:
IT Security Manager

Location:
Ahmedabad

Experience:
10-15 years

Essential Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are preferred

Essential Area of Expertise:

  • Hands-on exp in Network security experience Firewalls, WAF, IPS, IDS, log analysis
  • Hands-on exp Data Security experience MFA, CASB, DLP, Intune etc
  • Hands-on exp Preventive/Detective security tools SIEM, xDR, EDR etc
  • SOC/Security Incident Management experience
  • Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection

Desired Area of Expertise:

  • Computer network penetration techniques.
  • Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
  • Manage network vulnerability activities.
  • Patch management
  • ISO 27001 Framework

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Security Strategy & Governance
    Define and enforce IT security policies, align with business goals.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
    Conduct risk assessments, ensure ISO/GDPR/HIPAA compliance, manage audits.
  • Incident Response & Threat Management
    Handle security incidents, implement threat detection, maintain DR/BCP.
  • Security Architecture & Tools
    Deploy firewalls, SIEM, antivirus; integrate security in system design.
  • Training & Awareness
    Run employee awareness programs, build cybersecurity culture.
  • Vendor & Third-Party Oversight
    Assess vendor security, ensure secure system integration.
