Desired Candidate Profile:

Our Production Department is actively seeking a CNC and VMC Programmer to join us on a full-time basis. The role involves producing precision components by programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines and VMCs equipped with Fanuc controllers.

JOB Role

• Read blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines based on specification
• Develop CNC programs for machining automobile and aerospace components on VMC and CNC lathe machines
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job
• Adjust and verify machine settings to meet desired product specifications
• Troubleshoot issues with the machine during the instructional design process
• Ability to work independently and stick to deadlines
• Implement routine machine maintenance checklists and prioritize preventive maintenance
• Conduct quality control during the machine's manufacturing stage and on the final product
• Process a keen eye for detail to accuracy

Skills required

• Hands-on experience in programming CNC Lathe and VMC on Fanuc controllers is required.
• The candidate should possess knowledge on cutting tools, tool presetter, shrink fit machine, and cutting parameters
• Troubleshooting capability during the manufacturing process is essential
• Experience in geometric dimensioning and tolerance are preferred
• Mathematical skills: The core work of CNC / VMC programmers rely on measurements, numbers, and dimensions. Strong mathematical abilities are necessary for performing machine adjustment calculations
• Analytical skills: Analytical skills are employed by CNC / VMC programmers to read and comprehend complex blueprints, models, and drawings, enabling them to create solutions according to requirements
• Engineering skills: Engineering skills, particularly in mechanical engineering, are beneficial as programmers need an in-depth understanding of machine specifications
• Problem-solving: Problem-solving skills are essential as CNC / VMC programmers frequently encounter issues with blueprint and design drawings. Patience and problem-solving abilities are required to identify and resolve problems effectively
• Comprehension skills: Comprehension skills are necessary for reading and understanding blueprints of machines, ensuring the accuracy of the parts or tools designed
• Teamwork skills: Teamwork skills are vital as CNC / VMC programmers collaborate with various professionals, including CNC engineers, operators, and machinists, within an industrial engineering team
• Safety consciousness: Safety consciousness is important for CNC / VMC programmers to adhere to all safety protocols during the design and development of machines, ensuring a safe workplace for team members
• Computer software skills: Computer software skills are essential as CNC programmers utilize CAD and CAM software for designing parts and tools. CAD software is used for creating designs and blueprints of machine parts, while CAM software is utilized for generating CNC machine instructions (Additional preference)

• ₹4,20,000 - ₹4,80,000 per annum
