**Position**:CNC/VMC Programmer & Operator

**Location**: Alapakkam, Porur, Chennai

**Industry**: Manufacturing / Machining

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die / CNC Programming
- Proven experience as a CNC/VMC Programmer and Operator.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, UG NX, etc.).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain close tolerances.
- Ability to work independently and handle complex jobs
- Good knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and materials.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and set up VMC machines for production and R&D components
- Interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T
- Set tools, fixture components, and optimize machining processes
- Perform quality checks using instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Understand basic CNC programming (preferably FANUC/Siemens)
- Maintain machine cleanliness and safety standards
- Coordinate with engineering and QC teams
