Senior Specialist, IT Application Solutions – Full Stack Developer for Research/Laboratory Applications

About the Role: We are looking for an senior full stack developer (5-10 years' experience) to own end-to-end feature and capability development for custom applications that directly support our research laboratories. You'll work closely with our Application owners and subject matter experts in the business, along with our IT Business Relationship Managers in a highly collaborative, fast moving environment where iteration speed and execution matter. This role requires a build mindset, someone who thrives on solving tough problems, shipping quickly, and taking ownership of key technical initiatives across both the front end and backend. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and is passionate about building scalable and efficient applications.

Responsibilities 职责:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, DevExpress Extensions, REACT, SQL Server, JavaScript.
• Design and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server for optimal performance and scalability. Resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Build data intensive applications that interact with Snowflake as a data source
• Build web applications with REACT that interact with machine learning models that have been deployed as a service. Aid in the build of RESTful APIs for the model(s), and sending input data and receiving predictions or outputs from the model.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and Azure cloud deployments
• Translate product vision and design discussions into intuitive, high quality user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to continuously improve application engineering standards.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders, addressing application-related queries and troubleshooting issues. Investigate, present and implement solutions that solve complex application problems.

Qualifications 要求:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• • ASP.NET MVC: Strong grasp of the Model-View-Controller architecture for building scalable web apps.
• .NET Framework: Deep proficiency in C# and .NET libraries for backend logic.
• DevExpress MVC Components: Experience with DevExpress UI controls like Data Grid, Pivot Grid, Xtra Reports and other server-side extensions. Critical for lab workflow management application maintenance.
• Solid SQL Server relational database design, SQL optimization, and integration experience. Ability to develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and reporting.
• JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS: For UI enhancements and client-side scripting.
• Entity Framework / LINQ: ORM tools for data access and manipulation.
• SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services): Designing and deploying reports.
• Built modern, responsive user interfaces with REACT frameworks
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to understand and write code documentation that conveys your solution to other developers
• Ability to trouble shoot and optimize applications for security and responsiveness
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to nontechnical users and support stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid Understanding of DevOps processes and pipelines using Azure DevOps (git)

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5–10 years of full stack development experience in both frontend and backend environments
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies are a plus.

• • Experience in web services, RESTFUL APIs, and microservices architectures
• Experience deploying with Azure App Services, Azure Web Services
• Collaboration with data scientists and engineers to integrate services with tools like Python
