Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Accounts Receivable & Intercompany
Responsibilities:
·    Cash Application & Matching – Review insurance cash receipts accurately against policies, claims, and broker statements
·    Collections Management – Provide oversight to the collection of premiums and recoveries, coordinating with brokers, underwriters, and internal team's processes
·    Dispute Resolution – Investigate and resolve cash application discrepancies, unallocated cash, and aged items through proactive follow-up
·    Delinquency Tracking – Monitor overdue balances, initiating escalation or remediation actions to minimize aged receivables
·    Cash Clean-up & Reconciliation – Review periodic reconciliations of accounts, ensuring ledger accuracy and clearing of unmatched items
·    Intercompany Accounting – Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting, settlements, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate balance clearance
·    Month-End Close Activities – Support AR close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of reporting schedules
·    Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities to enhance accuracy and turnaround time
·    Governance & Reporting – Drive structured governance through regular reviews, dashboards, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and control across the AP value chain

Minimum Qualifications:
·    Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
·    Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance Credit Control and RTR activities
·    Experience in working with Oracle and AR tools would be added advantage
·    Experience in working with an insurance client is must

Preferred Skill Set:
·    Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
·    Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
·    Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
·    Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
·    Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
·    Strong time management skills
·    Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
