The Strategic Electronics Business Unit
designs, develops and manufactures customized, complex products for Defence and Space customers. Centum is a leading industry partner for India's DRDO labs, Defence PSUs as well as the Indian Space Research Organization having delivered mission-critical electronics on major missile, radar, electronic warfare & satellite applications. Centum's unique microelectronics capability enables the development of lightweight, high-reliability electronics for onboard applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse RFPs/RFQs/EOIs to determine proposal requirements.
- Develop bid strategies aligned with business objectives and client needs.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams for proposal input. (Sales, Design and operations SCM, finance, legal, and project delivery).
- Write, edit, and structure bid content to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Work closely with finance to develop accurate costing and pricing.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality, client-focused proposals.
- Maintain bid library and post-bid documentation for future reference.
- Participate in bid presentations and client clarifications.
- Conduct bid reviews and manage lessons learned post-submission.
- Ensure all bid documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to internal governance procedures and client requirements.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and client feedback to improve win rates.
Who You Are:
- Possess 15+ years of expertise in BID Management within the Aerospace or Defence industry.
- A strong business knowledge in electronics background
- Able to plan in detail and well in advance.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good spoken and written English communication Skills.
- Preferable to have good technical knowledge on Aerospace Systems and Avionics with a techno-commercial bent of mind.
- Excellent knowledge on Procurement processes, rules and regulations. Knowledge on DPP, DAPP and GoI manuals is desirable.
Educational Background:
- BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communications
- Any other additional qualification associated with Techno-commercial aspects of Aerospace, Avionics bids and opportunities.
