About this opportunity:
Looking for candidate who will be Handling VAS Operations and maintaining service availability for VAS nodes with proper work focus for Alarm handling, support Hardware/software/configuration related issues, configuration of all Nodes pertaining to VAS domains and emergency handling/outage Support for VAS and IMS nodes/products/network.

What you will do:

  • Ensuring a smooth operation of the GSM,TCP-IP.
  • Be part of a team managing specific VAS Network activities associated with Mobile GSM(2G,3G,4G) Network.
  • Administrating VAS(SMSC,MMSC,MMSC,VMS) and Support Systems.
  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
  • Planned Maintenance (Health Checks, Backups etc.).
  • Problem Escalations and Follow-ups (CSR).
  • Performance Analysis & Investigation.
  • Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Departments.
  • Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from Project.
  • Troubleshooting/Fault finding/RCA in configuration/hardware/software.

The skills you bring:

  • Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience or equivalent in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent
  • Experience level 3+ years' experience in of Ericsson VAS products.
  • Having 2+ years of experience as a System Engineer in a mobile network environment.
  • Knowledge of GSM, SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, SCCP, SCTP ,IMS and Diameter protocol.
  • Must have Knowledge of Linux, OS- (Linux, Solaris), IP basics, PCRF, SMSC, and Provisioning system
