Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead business growth in the construction and earthmoving equipment sector. The role involves building strong dealer and contractor relationships, achieving regional sales targets, and driving customer satisfaction through effective account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned regional targets.
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with dealers, contractors, and key accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and after-sales support.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights.
- Lead territory expansion initiatives and ensure brand visibility across the region.
Qualifications
Education:
- MBA in Sales/Marketing or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales of construction/earthmoving equipment or related field.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Excel, and reporting systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
