Job Title: Principal Consultant – Capital Markets (Pre-Sales / Solution Design)
Location: Bangalore or Gurgaon/NCR
Experience: 12+ years
Work Shift: Day (Flexible considering Solution Design role)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant with deep expertise in Capital Markets Operations and strong pre-sales / solution design experience. The ideal candidate will be a domain expert (SME) capable of leading solution pursuits, defining strategies, and delivering impactful client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead RFP/RFI pursuits: Develop solution strategy, win themes, pitches, and transformation approaches for tech-enabled operations (BPM).

Participate in scope definition, due diligence workshops, and oral presentations with prospective clients.

Collaborate with Sales, Account, and Delivery teams to craft winning solutions.

Prepare and present solution walkthroughs, proof-of-concepts, and proposal defenses.

Develop go-to-market strategies: Work with Sales teams across geographies to identify opportunities and propose winning solutions.

Create financial services collaterals, whitepapers, and point-of-view documents.

Mentor and train junior team members to enhance capabilities.

Open to domestic and international travel at short notice.

Key Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Science / Technology. MBA from reputed B-Schools is desirable.

Experience: 12+ years in Capital Markets Operations (Asset Management, Wealth Management, Broker-Dealer, Custody, or Private Equity) with a minimum of 2 years in Pre-Sales or Solution Design.

Proven experience as a domain expert or SME in Capital Markets.

Domain & Technical Skills

In-depth knowledge of Capital Markets value chain, operations, and asset classes.

Strong understanding of security and trade life cycles, including:

Client Onboarding & KYC

Data Management (Account/Security setup & maintenance)

Trade Management (Front / Middle / Back Office)

Corporate Actions

Reconciliation

Reporting (Shareholder / Financial / Regulatory)

Payments

Familiarity with platforms and technologies used in Capital Markets.

Strong knowledge of Digital Transformation tools: Workflow, RPA, Data, IDP, Gen AI.

Awareness of industry trends in the Capital Markets space.

Other Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Strong relationship-building, analytical, and presentation skills.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Passport with valid US visa preferred.
