Our offering includes a leading portfolio from our trusted brands: Raychem, Tracer, Nuheat and Pyrotenax.What you will experience in this position:This position is part of the Mumbai Estimation team and reports to the Proposal Manager in Mumbai.Estimating: Preparation of design sheets, Tanks GA drawings and Piping MTO from Client's GA/Isometric drawings or line listsEstimating Insulation and cladding materials including rivets, manhours calculations, preparation of execution schedule, execution plan etc.Design Electrical Heat Tracing Circuits, Circuit Schedules and Single Line diagramsAssessment: Review and analyze requestsCheck completeness of dataPrepare: Ensure that estimates are completed on timeProvide estimates with clear Assumptions/Clarifications/ExceptionsProcesses: Use the right tools and processesAlign with Business Development and/ or Sales for further handlingYou have: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 5+ years of previous experience in an estimating role of conventional insulation systems (preferably within process industries)Skills:Quick learnerHigh level of accuracyProficiency in processing dataComputer literate – proficient in a wide variety of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Salesforce)Languages skills - English, both written and verbalKnowledge of Heat Tracing Applications will be a plusBe a self-starter / self-motivated, detail orientated and a good communicatorAbilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:Working under pressureThe work will be in a typical office environmentSome assignments may require occasional travelling for customer visits (< 10% of time)At Chemelex:We protect places of progress through electric excellence.Pioneering plants, sprawling data centers, busy transport hubs, and your own home.
