Key Responsibilities

1. Tendering & Estimation

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work for data center projects.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates including civil, MEP, architectural, and specialized systems (HVAC, Electrical, PHE, Firefighting, ELV).
  • Develop detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing sheets.
  • Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Assist in risk analysis and identify scope gaps in tender documents.

2. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

  • Float enquiries, obtain quotations, and negotiate with vendors/subcontractors.
  • Evaluate vendor offers technically and commercially to finalize competitive pricing.
  • Maintain and update database of supplier rates, market prices, and benchmarks.

3. Coordination & Documentation

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams for accurate inputs.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for submission within deadlines.
  • Support post-tender clarifications, client negotiations, and handover to execution team.
  • Maintain proper documentation of estimates, assumptions, and correspondence.

4. Market & Cost Intelligence

  • Track industry trends, material price fluctuations, and competitor practices.
  • Regularly update unit rates and productivity norms for data center construction projects.
