Job Description

The role involves providing assistance to the markets on Cash forecasting & working capital requirements on behalf of Group Treasury, it includes assistance during Forecast numbers load, Actual balance uploads, Variance analysis, preparation of dashboard, reporting & reconciliations.

The position will join a team of two existing team members providing support to the Group Treasury team on IC netting and settlement.

Furthermore, the role involves tasks such as identifying problem areas and providing necessary suggestions to improve the process and training the market contacts on system usage.

Additionally, person will be assisting the Group Treasury team on External vendor payment related queries.

Analyst - Operational Finance

: Key responsibilities:
  • Identify process improvements and change behaviors to improve the liquidity position of the market
  • Analysis and understanding of how payment and collection behaviors are impacting Working Capital
  • Improve the accuracy of cash flow forecasts via on-system variance analysis
  • Increase forecasting process efficiency, via automation and onscreen collaboration.
  • Provide deeper Working Capital analytics through the on-system dashboard.
  • Monitor the forecast/Actual file integration from various systems and report if any issues with the concerned teams
  • Centrally provide visibility of future cash/FX requirements
  • Eliminate errors and the waste of manual effort building/updating Excel reports.
  • Work with foreign banks and troubleshoot with SEPA and cross-border payment methods.
  • Help market with queries on overseas payments
Partnering with local market finance teams to:
  • Co-ordinate with the project team for new markets implementation
  • Work with technical teams if any issues with Actuals/forecast files integration
  • Regular calls and catch-ups with the projects team and regional heads to understand the project issue from market
Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Graduate/masters degree in commerce/MBA/semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 6 to 8 years of experience.
  • Cash forecasting & working capital management experience
  • Understanding foreign payment process & troubleshooting would be an advantage.
  • Communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills across global cultures.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel. Advanced Excel skills are an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Media or Digital sectors is an advantage.
  • Fluent Spoken English.
