Sales and Marketing Executive home Furnishing & Interior Services
Job Role:
The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, building client relationships, and executing marketing strategies for home furnishing products (like curtains, blinds, upholstery) and interior design services. The role requires a strong understanding of both B2C and B2B sales dynamics in the interior decor and lifestyle space.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and businesses.
- Conduct site visits, client consultations, and product presentations.
- Generate and follow up on leads through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Maintain a strong client pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients.
- Provide after-sales support and resolve client queries.
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns (offline and online) to generate brand awareness and leads.
- Manage social media platforms, create content calendars, and coordinate with designers for creatives.
- Collaborate with interior designers and influencers for cross-promotion and brand partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Organize and participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Work with digital marketing teams to optimize SEO, SEM, and paid ad strategies.
- Collect and analyze campaign data to improve marketing performance.
Operational & Reporting:
- Maintain records of client interactions, sales reports, and marketing performance metrics.
- Coordinate with the design and installation teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and product performance.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of home dcor and interior design trends
- Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and CRM systems
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and organized
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Interior Design, or related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in sales and/or marketing in home furnishing, interior design, or lifestyle sector
- Familiarity with products like curtains, blinds, wallpapers, upholstery, modular furniture, etc.
