Senior Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate techno-commercial proposals for automation projects.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams for solution finalization.
  • Analyze RFQs and technical specifications to define scope and cost.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
  • Develop control system architecture and BOM for proposals.
  • Present solutions and clarify technical queries to customers.
  • Maintain enquiry registers, proposal documents, and CRM updates.
  • Support sales with technical presentations and pre-sales discussions.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and follow-up on opportunities.
  • Provide project handover documents and support during kick-off.

Qualifications:

  • Must be an Engineering Graduate or Diploma in EEE, ECE and E&I
  • You have at least 4-6 years of Proposal experience in the automation industry
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills in English

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Should have skills in reading and understanding the plant layout / P&ID and Technical Document.
  • Should have strong convincing skills & Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks..
  • Ability to understand customer processes and clearly explain solution benefits.
  • Should have desire and aspiration in learning new/updating process application
  • Hands on experience in using Desk Top tools, such as MS PPT, MS Excel, MS Word
