About Catalysts for Social Action:

Catalysts for Social Action (CSA) is a non-governmental organization based in Mumbai that strives to create a brighter future for vulnerable children, children under institutional care and care leavers. CSA operates in four states in India, namely Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Goa. CSA works with more than 100 child care institutions with almost 4500 children, and more than 1500 care leavers.

Role Overview

The HR, IT & Admin Associate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day Human Resources, Information Technology, and Administrative functions. This role involves ensuring smooth internal operations, providing HR support to employees, maintaining IT systems in coordination with vendors, and handling administrative tasks for efficient office management.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR):

  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new employees.
  • Maintain employee records, leave management, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, and statutory compliance support.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and team activities.
  • Handle queries related to HR policies and processes.

Information Technology (IT):

  • Act as the first point of contact for basic IT-related issues (hardware/software/network).
  • Coordinate with IT vendors for procurement, installation, and maintenance of systems.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Support employees with troubleshooting (email, applications, system access).

Administration:

  • Oversee office supplies, stationery, and facility management.
  • Manage travel bookings, accommodation, and logistics.
  • Support in scheduling meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Handle vendor management and service contracts (housekeeping, utilities, etc.).

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic technical knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRMS/ERP tools.
  • Problem-solving and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR, Admin, or IT support roles (preferred).
  • Freshers may also apply.
