B. Job Objective

Job Purpose

The Deputy General Manager – Mechanical Design will lead and manage the mechanical design team, ensuring innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality design solutions for projects. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver complex engineering projects on time and within budget

C. Primary Responsibilities

Functional Skill
  • Expertise in mechanical design principles and advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD). 
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection. 
  • Project planning, resource management, and cost optimization. 
  • Familiarity with FEA, CFD, and simulation tools.


Behavioral Skills
  • Leadership and ability to influence organizational culture. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving under pressure.

D. Role Requirements / Specifications

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field..

Desired Experience
  • 15–20 years in mechanical design with at least 5 years in leadership roles.


Knowledge & Skills
  • Expertise in mechanical design principles and advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
