Job Description:

Designation: Senior Executive

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable and Vendor management executive is responsible for PO issuing and Invoice processing, managing vendor payments, reconciling statements, and maintaining accurate records. The role ensures timely and accurate payment of company obligations while adhering to internal controls and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments in accordance with company policies.

  2. Perform 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, goods receipt).

  3. Maintain accurate records of all payables and purchase tracker

  4. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  5. Coordinate with procurement and other departments for invoice clarification or approvals.

  6. Assist with month-end closing, provision and reporting tasks related to payables.

  7. Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) based on requisitions.

  8. Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.

  9. Monitor and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods/services.

  10. Maintain procurement records and documentation for audit and compliance.

  11. Maintain vendor master data and ensure proper documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in commerce, Finance, or related field.

  2. Experience: 3 + years in IT procurement and Account Payable.

  3. Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance.

  5. Good communication and analytical skills.

  6. Proficient in MS Excel, Office and Power Point
