Ecommerce Specialist — Job Description

Company Overview

Anchery Drugs is a leading provider of high-quality herbs, spices, Ayurvedic ingredients, and natural products. We operate our own e-commerce website and sell across major online marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, JioMart and others. We are looking for a skilled Ecommerce Specialist to manage and grow our complete online retail ecosystem.

Role Summary

The Ecommerce Specialist will manage end-to-end e-commerce operations across the company website and marketplace channels. This includes catalog management, listing optimization, marketplace advertising, customer experience, inventory coordination, analytics, and overall sales growth. The role demands strong operational discipline, marketplace expertise, and a growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities1. Website & Marketplace Management

• Manage daily operations of website
• Handle seller accounts on Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, JioMart seller portal, and other upcoming platforms.
• Create, upload, update, and optimize listings (titles, descriptions, images, keywords, variations, pricing).
• Maintain catalogue consistency across platforms.

2. Inventory, Pricing & Fulfilment

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse/procurement teams.
• Prevent overselling and out-of-stock situations through proper inventory syncing.
• Manage pricing, discounts, coupons, promotions, and marketplace deal participation.
• Coordinate marketplace fulfilment programs (FBA / Flipkart Fulfilment / JioMart fulfilment if applicable).

3. Advertising & Growth

• Plan, launch, and optimize ads on Amazon PPC, Flipkart Ads, and other paid channels.
• Improve sales, visibility, traffic, and conversion across platforms.
• Use cross-channel strategies to grow revenue month-on-month.
• Implement A+ Content / Enhanced Brand Content where brand registry applies.

4. Content & Brand Presentation

• Improve product photos, infographics, packaging visuals and on-page branding.
• Create SEO-friendly product descriptions for website and marketplaces.
• Maintain strong, consistent brand identity across all listings.

5. Customer Service & Compliance

• Handle customer queries, ratings, reviews, returns, and claim resolutions.
• Reduce return rate and negative reviews with proactive communication.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GST invoicing requirements, correct labelling, and category policies.
• Monitor marketplace alerts and resolve violations immediately.

6. Reporting & Analytics

• Track key KPIs:
• Sales by channel
• Conversion rates
• Ad performance (ACOS/ROAS)
• Inventory and return metrics
• Customer satisfaction
• Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
• Use insights to improve performance continually.

7. Coordination & Process Management

• Create SOPs for listing, inventory management, packaging, and order flow.
• Coordinate with procurement, packaging, operations, and logistics teams.
• Manage external partners (photographers, designers, marketplace agencies).

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in e-commerce operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, JioMart, and WooCommerce.
• Experience running Amazon PPC and other marketplace advertising tools.
• Good understanding of e-commerce logistics, order flow, and packaging requirements.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of design tools (Photoshop/Canva) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; Malayalam proficiency is helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Management, or related fields.
• Certifications in Amazon/Marketplace advertising or digital marketing are an added advantage.
