Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
  • Manage and design Siemens PLM, computing support via HPC and other RnD related software like Nastran, Hypermesh, NX etc. and their configurations.
  • Design and architect cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms.
  • Develop and implement cloud migration strategies, cloud governance frameworks, and cloud best practices.
  • Ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and security of the IT systems and software used by the RnD team.
  • Lead and mentor the RnD IT staff and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Coordinate with other teams and departments to align the RnD IT strategy with the business goals and customer needs.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the RnD IT processes and capabilities.
  • Manage the budget and resources of the RnD IT department and report on the progress and outcomes of the projects.
Preferred Industries
Education Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Siemens PLM, computing support via HPC and other RnD related software like Nastran, Hypermesh, NX etc. and their configurations.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms.
General Experience
  • Minimum years of experience in RnD IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in cloud migration, cloud security, cloud networking, cloud storage, and cloud monitoring.
  • Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and orchestration tools.
  • Experience in web services, APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Experience in programming languages such as Dot net core, Java, C#, angular etc.
  • Certification in Siemens PLM, & computational software management would be preferred
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
