Member Engagement Executive

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), USA, is one of the world's leading associations advancing the management accounting profession. With a strong and growing presence in India, IMA is committed to supporting professionals through world-class certifications, thought leadership, and a dynamic member network. We are seeking a Member Engagement Executive to champion member retention, loyalty, and growth initiatives in India. This role is pivotal in strengthening long-term relationships with members, enhancing their IMA journey, and driving innovative engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience from member-based organizations, a strong understanding of member lifecycle management, and the ability to design and execute impactful programs that build loyalty and foster growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Membership Retention & Loyalty
- Develop and implement member retention strategiesto sustain and grow IMA's India membership base.
- Design and roll out loyalty and recognition programs that add tangible value and strengthen member commitment.
- Partner with internal and global teams to align India's retention initiatives with IMA's overall strategic goals.
- Partner with chapter leaders to ensure local members are receiving consistent support in their geographic areas.
Member Engagement & Experience
- Ideate and execute out-of-the-box engagement initiatives (webinars, workshops, networking forums, recognition platforms, etc.).
- Regularly track and assess member satisfaction and expectations, translating insights into action plans.
- Build deeper engagement with professional chapters, Approved Training Partners, and student communities.
Membership Growth & Innovation
- Identify innovative avenues to attract and convert new members through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
- Support strategic outreach to corporates, academic institutions, and professional bodies to expand IMA's footprint.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to recommend fresh, differentiated approaches to membership growth.
Execution & Reporting
- Create structured project plans for engagement and retention programs, ensuring timely execution.
- Measure and report on KPIs including member retention, renewal rates, satisfaction scores, and growth metrics.
- Provide actionable insights to senior management to continuously refine engagement strategy.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Education:Graduate/Postgraduate in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Experience:At least 5 years in member-based organizations, associations, or professional bodies with a proven track record in retention and engagement programs.
