Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee/Officer in Industrial Safety Management with up to 1 year of experience or fresh graduates. The candidate will assist in creating and maintaining a safe work environment by identifying potential risks, enforcing safety standards, and supporting safety training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine safety inspections across various work areas to identify hazards and unsafe conditions, and report findings promptly.
  • Assist in implementing measures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries by promoting safe work practices.
  • Deliver need-based safety training and demonstrations on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fire safety equipment to employees and contract workers.
  • Ensure fire hydrant systems, fire extinguishers, and first aid fire appliances are regularly maintained and functional.
  • Support investigations of workplace accidents and near-misses, assist in root cause analysis, and help recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in fire drills and refresher training sessions for emergency response teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and other relevant documentation.
  • Issue safety work permits under supervision and adhere to organizational safety protocols.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety requirements of engineering contractors on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Science (Physics & Chemistry).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Safety Management from a recognized university approved by AICTE.
  • Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply
