Foundry Supervisor

• Production Oversight:Supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in various foundry processes like molding, melting, pouring, and finishing.
• Quality Control:Ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards through examination of materials and castings at different stages of production.
• Equipment Management:Monitoring equipment for malfunctions, ordering repairs, and directing workers in adjustments or repairs.
• Safety and Compliance:Enforcing safety regulations and environmental standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Training and Development:Training workers in foundry processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Production Planning:Coordinating production schedules, start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Team Leadership:Managing and motivating a team of foundry workers, providing guidance and feedback.
• Communication:Communicating with management about production progress, safety concerns, and potential improvements.
• Process Improvement:Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Inventory Management:Monitoring supply usage, ensuring efficient use of consumables, and managing fettling supplies.
• Customer Satisfaction:Ensuring finished products meet customer specifications and resolving any quality issues.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of metallurgy, foundry processes, and quality control principles.
• Leadership Skills:Ability to motivate and manage a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
• Communication Skills:Effective verbal and written communication for conveying instructions, providing feedback, and reporting to management.
• Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve issues related to production, equipment, or personnel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
