We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated QA Lead to join our fully remote team. You will be responsible for establishing and leading our quality assurance function, ensuring that our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Leadership: Develop, implement, and own the end-to-end QA strategy, processes, and best practices.
  • Test Planning: Create and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and regression testing.
  • Automation: Design, build, and maintain a scalable test automation framework for our web and mobile applications (e. g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium).
  • Manual Testing: Perform hands-on manual testing, including functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing, especially for complex features.
  • Bug Management: Lead the defect lifecycle management process: identify, document, triage, and track bugs from discovery to resolution using tools like Jira.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers within an Agile/Scrum framework to understand requirements and ensure quality is built into every stage of the development cycle.
  • Reporting: Define key quality metrics (KQs) and report regularly on test execution, defect trends, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and test coverage.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • Strong Automation Experience: Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficiency with automation tools (e. g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium).
  • Experience with API testing (e. g., using Postman, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL.
  • Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the QA role within them.
  • Tools: Expertise with bug tracking tools (e. g., Clickup, Jira) and test management tools (e. g., TestRail, Zephyr).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance and load testing (e. g., JMeter, Gatling).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e. g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience testing applications built with ReactNative, , or .
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in the health-tech, wellness, or nutrition industry.
