Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality standards and compliance in High-Rise Residential Buildings & villa projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site inspections, material testing, and quality audits to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Identify and rectify non-conformities in construction activities.
  • Review and approve construction materials and work procedures.
  • Conduct and oversee material testing for concrete, steel, and other construction materials.
  • Ensure site quality control by monitoring workmanship, compliance, and safety standards.
  • Supervise QC lab operations for material testing and quality verification.
  • Ensure quality control in finishing activities such as plastering, tiling, painting, and flooring.
  • Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project managers to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, construction standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions on quality control standards for construction teams.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing method statements and inspection test plans (ITP).

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, IS codes, and construction standards
  • Hands-on experience in high-rise residential projects
  • Expertise in material testing, site quality control, and finishing works
  • Familiarity with QC labs, testing equipment, and non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and quality audits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality management tools
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/QC roles in the construction industry (high-rise projects preferred)
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification is required.
