Head of Business Analysis and Agile Delivery

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Analysis and Agile Delivery to lead our asset management business analysis and delivery capability. This role is pivotal in building business analysis capability aligned to strategic priorities, ensuring delivery excellence, and fostering a community of practice within the business analysis domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis and delivery leadership within the asset management industry.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Build and enhance the business analysis function to support future growth and strategic priorities.
• Implement best practices and methodologies to ensure high-quality analysis and delivery.
• Foster a collaborative environment for business analysts to share knowledge, tools, and techniques.
• Oversee the delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure delivery success.
• Develop and maintain delivery MI to provide insights into delivery squad performance and areas for improvement.
• Champion agile methodologies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Use data to drive decision-making and optimize delivery processes.
• Engages leaders, stakeholders and other impacted audiences to create an engaged workforce who understands business goals & what it means for customers and employees.
• Leads the execution of change management programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
• Educates the organization on opportunities, raising digital awareness and dexterity across teams.
• Maintain assertive communication and keep day to day effective contact with Business Owners and senior leadership teams
• Inspire your team to deliver exceptional performance by helping them to connect the purpose of their work, beyond the impact to the bottom line
• As India Asset Management Tech leadership team,  support to make effective decisions, collaborate across silos, speak up and take personal accountability.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills (Key):

• Has cross asset class knowledge, including but not limited to Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Alternatives, Private Equity and Private Debt.
• Highly experienced in managing a diverse cross-functional team.
• Proven track record of managing senior level stakeholders (CXO / Director) across locations for clear communication and alignment.
• Team player with experience in leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to handle multiple projects and multiple team members with confidence
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, work management, time management and communications skills
• A keen interest in technology and its application within the financial services industry.
• Strong Leadership skills and Strategic thinking.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Good knowledge of Service Now, JIRA, Confluence and MS office suite.

Experience:

• Strong experience leading business analysis and delivery function in asset management domain.
• Strong Experience in business analysis ranging from business processes through to data integration analysis
• Strong understanding of asset management processes, systems, and regulatory requirements
• Experience with business architecture and operating model design
• 15+ years of corporate experience and large part of that with asset management firms
• Experience working in fast paced agile environments with cross functional teams.
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies, its benefits and challenges. Experience scaling Agile ways of working across the function.
• Strong people leadership to build a high performing team.
