Job Summary

We are seeking a
Senior Accountant
with strong analytical skills, proven accounting experience, and a deep understanding of GAAP principles. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal audits while contributing to efficiency improvements and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

· Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

· Produce accurate accounting reports and present financial results

· Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

· Identify errors and suggest cost-saving and process improvement measures

· Review and enhance accounting systems and internal procedures

· Participate in financial forecasting and standards-setting

· Assist in preparing budgets and financial statements

· Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes

· Ensure compliance with
GAAP
and internal control policies

· Coordinate with external and internal auditors

· Supervise and review work of junior accounting staff

· Assist with tax audits and filings

· Collaborate with the Financial and Accounting Managers to improve financial procedures

· Manage overseas accounting (USA, Dubai, Oman)

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance

· to 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role

· Strong knowledge of
GAAP
, accounting procedures, and business trends

· Experience in
accounts finalization
, audit processes, and budget preparation

· Hands-on experience with
Tally/ERP
,
QuickBooks
, and
FreshBooks

· Strong command of
MS Excel
(including VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Skills & Tools

· Accounting Software: Tally, ERP, QuickBooks, FreshBooks

· Microsoft Office Suite, especially
Excel

· Understanding of regional and international accounting standards (USA, Dubai, Oman)
