Key Responsibilities 1. Flow Bucket (4+) Management

Manage overdue cases in Bucket 4 and above, ensuring timely follow-ups and action plans.

Monitor delinquent accounts to prevent slippage into NPA/GNPA.

Review and update promise-to-pay (PTP) and broken PTP cases regularly.

Drive roll-back to earlier buckets through structured recovery interventions.

2. GNPA Reduction & Portfolio Health

Achieve monthly and quarterly GNPA reduction targets for Motor Finance.

Conduct deep-dive analysis of chronic delinquent cases and create case-specific strategies.

Coordinate with credit/operations to flag early warning signs (EWS).

Improve resolutions through settlements, restructuring, and negotiated closures.

3. Field, Agency & Team Management

Manage collection agencies, repo agents, and field executives.

Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure adherence to compliance and code of conduct.

Provide training for field teams on processes, documentation, and risk management.

Allocate cases based on agency performance, geography, and complexity.

4. Legal & Recovery Action

Coordinate with legal teams for Section 138, SARFAESI, arbitration, and pre-legal notices.

Oversee vehicle repossession (if applicable) and manage auction/recovery flow.

Ensure all legal documentation and case records are updated accurately.

5. Customer Interaction & Negotiation

Engage with high-value customers to negotiate settlements, closures, and payment plans.

Resolve disputes, handle escalations, and ensure fair customer treatment.

Verify customer financial capability and propose structured recovery options.

6. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare reports on bucket-wise performance, GNPA trends, agency MIS, and recovery dashboards.

Analyse portfolio health indicators—vintage delinquency, LGD, flow rates, and settlements.

Present weekly/monthly performance to senior management.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of Motor Loan collections, repossession, and recovery processes.

In-depth knowledge of GNPA norms, flow buckets, and regulatory requirements.

Good negotiation, communication, and customer-handling skills.

Ability to manage multiple agencies and a dispersed field team.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/collection dashboards.

Familiarity with legal recovery procedures and regulatory compliance.

Experience & Qualifications

Education: Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).

Experience: 4–10+ years in Motor Finance collections, with at least 2+ years handling Bucket 4+ / GNPA accounts.

Experience in NBFC/Banks dealing with secured loan collections is preferred.

Strong track record of achieving bucket roll-back and NPA reduction.
