Role Overview

We're looking for a
Backend Developer (PHP)

who is enthusiastic about server-side logic, database design, and building robust, scalable APIs. You'll work closely with frontend developers, data teams, and DevOps engineers to power the backend of innovative digital applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using PHP (Wordpress, Laravel or similar frameworks)
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless data integration
  • Design and implement database models and queries (MySQL or other SQL databases)
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and peer code reviews
  • Debug and resolve backend issues efficiently and proactively
  • Optimize application performance and ensure security compliance

Required skills

  • Strong knowledge of
    PHP, Wordpress

and understanding of frameworks like Laravel
- Solid understanding of
RESTful API

development and integration
- Experience with
SQL databases

(MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with version control tools such as
Git
- Knowledge of Composer is a plus point
- Basic understanding of server configuration and deployment workflows
- Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and take ownership of assigned modules
- Good written and verbal communication skills
