**Job Profile: Maintenance Manager**

**Role Overview:**

The Maintenance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of all machinery and equipment within our hand tool manufacturing facility. This position requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of maintenance strategies, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to lead a team towards achieving optimal equipment performance and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. **Maintenance Oversight:**

  2. Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for all production machinery, including forging machines, CNC machines, heat treatment equipment, surface finishing systems, and assembly lines.

  3. Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  4. **Team Leadership:**

  5. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  6. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the technical skills and safety awareness of the maintenance team.

  7. **Equipment Reliability:**

  8. Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying potential issues before they lead to downtime.

  9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize production interruptions.

  10. **Maintenance Scheduling:**

  11. Develop and oversee maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption to production operations.

  12. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to plan and execute maintenance activities efficiently.

  13. **Data Analysis and Reporting:**

  14. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics.

  15. Analyze equipment data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance cost-efficiency across the plant.

  16. **Budget Management:**

  17. Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  18. Evaluate and recommend the purchase of new tools and equipment necessary for maintenance operations.

**Qualifications:**

  1. **Education and Experience:**

  2. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

  3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the hand tools industry.

  4. **Technical Expertise:**

  5. Extensive knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

  6. Hands-on experience with a variety of machinery, including forging machines, CNC machines, heat treatment equipment, and surface finishing systems.

  7. **Leadership Skills:**

  8. Proven ability to lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals.

  9. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  10. **Technical Skills:**

  11. Proficiency in using CMMS and other maintenance management software.

  12. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment data and drive improvements.

  13. **Communication and Interpersonal Skills:**

  14. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  15. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and safety departments.

Pay: ₹40, ₹70,000.00 per month
