About The Job**
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with over 7 years of expertise in the US Healthcare domain to join our team. The role involves leading efforts to enhance enterprise system(s) and sub-system(s) by performing detailed analysis, gathering requirements, preparing functional designs, and supporting development and testing activities with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, facilitating and leading Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with SMEs from both business and technical teams, and ensuring requirements are clearly defined and implemented. The role also includes creating and maintaining "as-is" and "to-be" process documentation, preparing business and system requirement documents, and providing regular status reporting.
The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of US healthcare (Medicaid and Medicare) operational/business areas, including Claims Adjudication and Management, Member Enrollment, and Provider Enrollment & Validation processes. Exposure to SQL querying, APIs, and design documentation preparation will be an added advantage.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct JAR sessions, gather requirement documentation, and perform requirement analysis.
- Facilitate JAD sessions with project SMEs and technical staff.
- Prepare detailed business and technical documentation, including requirements, use cases, and design documents.
- Work across healthcare operations areas such as claims management, member enrollment, and provider validation.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design documentation.
- Create process maps and process flows using tools such as Visio or PowerPoint.
- Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
- Leverage tools such as Jira and Confluence for requirement tracking and collaboration.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing insights and recommendations.
Who You Are
(Education & Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with significant exposure to the US Healthcare domain.
- Proven expertise in healthcare operations, particularly in Claims, Enrollment, and Provider processes.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of US Healthcare operations.
- Hands-on experience with SQL querying (preferred).
- Understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.
- Proficiency with documentation and process mapping tools (Visio, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for agile delivery.
Soft Skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
