Scopely is looking for an Intern- Finance to join our Finance team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in preparing and posting journal entries (accruals, reclasses, adjustments).
  • Help ensure entries comply with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledger balances.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, etc.).
  • Support the team during monthly and quarterly close cycles.
  • Update reconciliation schedules and documentation files.
  • Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and audit requests.

What We're Looking For:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (Indian GAAP preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, basic formulas).
  • Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Bonus Points For:

  • Familiarity with accounting systems (Oracle) is a plus.
