Quality Specialist with DevOps for Solution Hub

What you'll build

As a Quality Specialist you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality-related activities, with a special focus on test-related tasks within the product creation and maintenance process. Furthermore, support design of a detailed test design incl. test system landscape definition, implement and execute manual and/or automated tests according to the test strategy, are an integral part of your daily work.

As a DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, upgrades and release related tasks. You will work in a highly motivated, collaborative and diverse team, together with different talents as well as established professionals.

Expectations from You

• Design and develop automated testing processes for Cloud based system software.
• Liaise with developers to plan and design tests for new features, software deployment, recreation of system-wide cases.
• Develop and use tools and frameworks to build and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes
• Create, review and execute functional and non-functional test cases for new features developed and released every month
• Troubleshoot functional and nonfunctional defects effectively, report and track defects
• Analyse, identify and implement test automation possibilities
• Provide transparent status to the stakeholders on product quality.
• Able to integrate different products and craft end to end test scenarios, execute and automate.
• Able to set up cross-product development test landscapes.
• Setup pipeline, Kubernetes and Helm charts
• Ensure the infrastructure is up-to-date at all times and there are no down-times or disruptions

What you bring

Key Competencies:

• Experience in Automation frameworks like Selenium and TestNG is mandatory.
• Experience with Core Java, maven, Scripting (Shell /python, Java Script) is an advantage.
• Experience with Jenkins, test integration with Jenkins is necessary.
• Experience with Cloud is an advantage (Amazon, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Delivery concepts is an advantage
• Experience working with Kubernetes clusters, writing and maintaining Helm charts.
• Knowledge on Docker, Bash & Groovy script, Cypress or any other test automation tools is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of JSON, SAP UI5, API, Core Java, JEE, Java Script, Ajax, JSON, HTML5, CSS, REST/ODATA, Git, GitHub and Gerrit and PostgreSQL.

Role Requirements:

• Major in computer science or related with 4-7 yrs of experience in quality.
• Knowledge about development environments and tools, like Git, Maven and Jenkins.
• Good understanding of automation testing methodologies in testing enterprise complex product stacks.
• Having ISTQB certification is a bonus point.
• Proficient in at least one of the following automation testing tools Selenium, TestNG, Katalon, Postman and/or any state of art UI and backend test automation tool; Defect management tool Jira
• Experience in automated testing of UI products, distributed systems, databases is preferred.
• Good understanding of Lean-Principles and agile Software Development with emphasis on CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent team player, self-motivated, passionate, and proactive having excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
