Role Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with 5+ years of experience to lead strategic business initiatives, build strong channel partnerships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the fintech or BFSI space and a proven track record of expanding market reach and acquiring high-value customers.

Job description:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across fintech products including digital lending, wealth management, and insurance distribution.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and customer acquisition.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle — from prospecting to closing — across institutional and retail segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, risk, and technology) to align business growth initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to refine business development tactics.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on pipeline development, sales performance, and revenue forecasting.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in fintech, banking, or NBFC domains.
  • Strong network within financial services ecosystem (lenders, aggregators, fintech enablers, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, or Marketing is preferred.
