Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Lead Calling: Call potential customers from the provided database or digital leads (from Meta, Google Ads, etc.) to introduce different insurance products (health, life, or motor insurance).
- Explaining Products: Clearly explain the benefits, coverage, premiums, and claim process of different insurance plans in simple language.
- Understanding Customer Needs: Ask the right questions to identify what kind of insurance suits the customer — e.g., health vs. term vs. motor.
- Handling Objections: Address customer doubts such as price concerns, coverage confusion, or company trust issues confidently and politely.
- Follow-Ups: Regularly follow up with interested leads until conversion or closure.
- Recording Interactions: Update call details, status, and remarks in CRM or Excel — such as "Interested," "Call Back Later," "Not Interested," "Converted," etc.
- Appointment Scheduling: Fix meetings with customers who show strong interest over the call.
- On-Site Consultation: Visit the client's home, office, or business place to present plan options and explain benefits face-to-face.
- Documentation Assistance: Help customers fill out proposal forms, KYC documents, and premium payment forms correctly.
- Relationship Building: Maintain a professional yet friendly approach to gain customer trust for future renewals or referrals.
- Cross-Selling: Once a relationship is built, introduce additional insurance products such as health add-ons, term plans, or accident covers.
- Daily Report Submission: Share a short end-of-day (EOD) report with the manager — including calls made, meetings done, leads generated, and conversions achieved.
- Data Entry & Updates: Maintain lead data in CRM or Google Sheets to ensure no lead is missed.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with the senior BDE or manager for approvals, plan comparisons, or claim-related queries.
- Campaign Feedback: Provide real feedback from customers — like what offers or plans they prefer — to help improve future campaigns.
