Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a B.Com degree, at least 6 months of relevant accounting experience, and working knowledge of Tally ERP. You will assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in Tally ERP
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation
  • Maintain and reconcile ledgers, bank statements, and other financial records
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense vouchers
  • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings
  • Help with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
  • Provide support during internal or external audits
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to the accounting department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP (Tally Prime preferred)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and taxation (GST, TDS)
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
  • Preferred Skills (Optional):Experience with inventory management in Tally
  • Familiarity with payroll accounting
  • Knowledge of basic banking procedures
