Role Description

The
Senior Sourcing Manager
will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing, supplier development, and procurement excellence in alignment with VENTTUP's localisation and sustainability goals. This full-time, on-site role (Bengaluru) requires strong experience in B2B sourcing environments, preferably with exposure to platforms or companies specializing in large-scale procurement, vendor management, and Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS).

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing operations, including generating and processing purchase orders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers to ensure consistent quality, competitiveness, and delivery timelines.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, commercial discussions, and contract finalization.
  • Drive strategic sourcing for new part development, localization, and reverse engineering initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support B2B sourcing across MRO, EPC, Renewable Energy, and manufacturing projects.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance standards, and regulatory procurement requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in B2B sourcing, preferably with exposure to high-volume sourcing platforms, MRO procurement, manufacturing services, or MaaS ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience in sourcing for manufacturing, MRO, energy, or renewable sector projects.
  • Strong understanding of new part development, vendor localization, reverse engineering, and global value sourcing.
  • Solid knowledge of procurement processes, including purchase order and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of sustainable sourcing and supply chain practices is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
