Qualifications & Skills

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CA Inter/MBA preferred).

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in Australian taxation (BAS, GST, income tax).

·       Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, or similar tax platforms.

·       Strong understanding of Australian tax laws, GST, FBT, and payroll tax.

·       Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·       High attention to detail and accuracy.

Office Timing Detailsb AM to 6.00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • ·       Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) accurately and within deadlines.
  • ·       Manage GST compliance, including GST reconciliations and adjustments.
  • ·       Handle income tax preparation and submission for Australian individuals, businesses, and trusts.
  • ·       Conduct reviews and ensure compliance with Australian tax laws, regulations, and standards.
  • ·       Assist clients with tax planning, minimizing liabilities, and optimizing tax positions in line with Australian tax legislation.
  • ·       Oversee and manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Payroll Tax requirements.
  • ·       Manage superannuation contributions and compliance for Australian clients.
  • ·       Support audits and liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) or external auditors when required.
  • ·       Stay updated on changes to Australian tax laws and provide guidance to the team and clients.
  • ·       Identify and implement opportunities for improving taxation processes and workflows.
