Senior Software Development Engineer

Our frontendplatform is geared towards developing a variety of products for both customersand partners. You will be working in a team which focuses on one or more of theproduct sectors, composed of members with different specializations. In Porcurrently activeproduct sectors are as follows:● Growth: You'llbuild tools to help boost user growth on the platform including our industrybest driver on -boardingtraining andcertification system, referral system, and lead management models.● LifecycleManagement: Build tools to increase user engagement with different platforms,which include rewards arecognitionmodules, subscription service, account management tools, partner and customerwallets and payoutmodules, and churndetection systems among others.● TransactionExperience: You'll help deliver the most delightful booking experience to ourcustomers and drivers.part of this team,you'll be responsible for our core booking system, pricing and payment systems,location trackingfiltering services,fraud prevention systems, and in -app ticketing and support among others.● Fulfilment: Aspart of the fulfilment team, you'll work on systems which ensure a high degreeof ride fulfilment onplatform. Toolsincluding allocation methodologies and system, dynamic pricing, dynamic partnerrouting, and parre -activation toolsamong others.● New Initiatives:The fastest growing team at our client, where we build tools to accelerategrowth and build aninspiring brandimage. RequirementsResponsibilities● SoftwareEngineering○ Design anddevelop scalable, reliable, secure and fault tolerant systems with minimalguidance○ Collaborate withteam members on functional and non -functional requirements, consolidate thedesignphilosophy andimprove the coding practices○ Research newtechnologies, tools and practices that enable building the next generation ofour services● ProductDevelopment○ Coordinate withdifferent engineering and product teams, through tools like Figma &Clickup, to plan andexecute productsprints○ Create productsaimed at delivering excellent user experience across different platforms andbrowsers○ Delivermaintainable code with provisions for customizations and A/B testing○ Regularly assessproduct impact and performance through tools like Google Analytics andLighthouseQualifications● SoftwareEngineering○ Should have 2+years of experience of designing, developing and maintaining React basedapplications○ Should have 5 -7years of hands on experience in developing large scale applications usingJavascript framewo○ Possess in -depthknowledge of Javascript concepts, REST APIs and asynchronous programming○ Familiarity withbrowser developer tools and well -versed with performance optimization○ Goodunderstanding of functional programming paradigm and UI architecture patterns○ Experience withtesting frameworks like JEST, modern auth mechanisms and server -side renderingthroughlibraries like NextJS Product Development○ Ability to scope,review and refine user stories for technical completeness and to resolvedependency risks.○ Well versed inworking with agile methodologies which includes phases such as design,development, code rtesting and releasemanagement○ Ability to workin a CI/CD environment, with hands on experience with Git or any similar sourcecodemanagement tools○ Continuouslyrefactor applications so that they are easy to maintain, easy to extend andeasy to contribute○ Experience withError monitoring tools like SentryTechnologiesBelow are few ofthe technologies that we are seeking:Type TechnologyWeb ApplicationFramework React, Ruby on RailsLanguagesReasonML/Rescript, Javascript, Typescript, Kotlin, HTML, CSSTools and LibrariesWebpack, Sentry, NextJS, NodeJS, Jest, FigmaCommunication HTTP,GraphQL, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNSApplication Monitoring Google Analytics, Lighthouse,Sentry, Kibana, Datadog
