Role Title: SAP ABAPER

Reporting To: Manager / Assistant General Manager-IT Services

Location of Posting: Corporate office, Vadodara

Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient SAP ABAP Developer with 3-5 years of experience to

join our SAP technical team. The candidate will be responsible for designing,

developing, and maintaining custom ABAP programs to enhance SAP functionalities.

You will collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants and business

stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs and interfaces in alignment with business

requirements.

2. Design, code, and test custom SAP reports, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

3. Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather and analyse

requirements for ABAP development.

4. Debug and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs to resolve issues and optimize

performance.

5. Perform data conversions and migrations using ABAP programming language.

6. Work on SAP modules like SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, CPI, API and other relevant SAP

technologies.

7. Collaborate with SAP functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP

developments.

8. Develop and maintain technical documentation for ABAP programs and solutions.

9. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users during SAP implementations and post-go-live support phases.

10. Stay current with SAP ABAP technologies and industry best practices to recommend and

implement improvements.

Education Qualification:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

SAP ABAP certification is a must.

Experience:

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development roles.

Technical Competencies/Skills:

•Proficient in ABAP programming language with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience

•Experience in SAP module development and customization.

•Strong understanding of SAP data models, structures, and tables.

•Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, and other SAP front-end technologies.

•Expertise in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs.

•Experience in SAP Smart Forms and SAPscript for designing custom forms.

•Familiarity with SAP enhancement techniques such as BAdIs and User Exits

•Ability to work on SAP S/4HANA environments.

•Ability to work on Fiori Environments.

•Understanding of SAP security concepts related to ABAP development.

•Experience in integrating SAP systems with external applications.
