About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mortgage Specialist to guide clients through the mortgage process from application to loan closing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mortgage products, lending regulations, and financial analysis, ensuring clients receive the best solutions tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation & Advisory
- Meet with clients to assess their mortgage needs and financial situation.
- Advise clients on mortgage products, interest rates, terms, and repayment options.
- Provide guidance throughout the mortgage process, from pre-qualification to loan closing.
Loan Processing & Documentation
- Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately.
- Collect, review, and verify required financial documents, credit reports, and property information.
- Ensure all loan documentation is compliant with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Loan Analysis & Underwriting Support
- Evaluate clients financial status, creditworthiness, and loan eligibility.
- Work closely with underwriting teams to facilitate approvals and address any conditions.
- Analyze risk factors and provide recommendations to clients and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in mortgage lending or financial advisory (e.g., NMLS, MBA, or equivalent).
- Experience in real estate financing, credit analysis, or risk assessment.
- Familiarity with digital mortgage platforms and fintech tools.
