Job Description (JD) for a Production Officer in the Frozen Food – Ready-to-Eat (RTE) Section:

*Production Officer* – Frozen Food (Ready-to-Eat) Section

Department: Production

*Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Head*

Location: Aayansh Foods Pvt Ltd

*Job Purpose* :

To manage, monitor, and ensure efficient and hygienic production of frozen Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food products as per standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and production targets.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  1. Production Planning & Execution

  2. Assist in preparing and executing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for the RTE section.

  3. Coordinate with the planning and procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
  4. Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.

  5. Monitor shift-wise production output and address any delays or bottlenecks.

  6. Operations Management

  7. Supervise day-to-day RTE line operations, including cooking, cooling, portioning, packaging, and freezing processes.

  8. Ensure proper functioning of all equipment (steamer, kettles, blast chillers, /freezers, packing machines, etc.).

  9. Coordinate changeovers and cleaning activities as per production requirements.

  10. Quality Assurance & Food Safety

  11. Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.).

  12. Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure proper documentation.
  13. Liaise with the QA team to address any quality issues during production.

  14. Prevent contamination and cross-contamination during processing.

  15. Manpower Management

  16. Supervise and coordinate activities of machine operators, line workers, and contract labor.

  17. Allocate manpower based on production needs and ensure proper training of workers.

  18. Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and teamwork among workers.

  19. Equipment & Maintenance Coordination

  20. Ensure proper handling and regular cleaning of equipment.

  21. Report any equipment breakdowns or inefficiencies to the maintenance department.

  22. Assist in preventive maintenance scheduling for production line equipment.

  23. Documentation & Reporting

  24. Maintain production records, process logs, material usage, wastage reports, and downtime records.

  25. Prepare daily production reports and submit to the Production Manager.

  26. Ensure all records are updated and audit-ready at all times.

  27. Compliance & Audits

  28. Support internal and external audits related to food safety, quality, and process efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
