Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Spandana Hospital in Bangalore. This role requires a work experience of 1 to 3 years and is available for Full-Time or Part-Time employment. The Rehabilitation Specialist will play a critical role in assessing and developing rehabilitation plans for patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Patient Assessment (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated capability to accurately assess patient conditions to aid in developing effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Rehabilitation Planning (Mandatory skill): Experience in crafting detailed rehabilitation strategies tailored to patient-specific needs and conditions.
  • Therapeutic Exercises (Mandatory skill): Proficient in designing and implementing therapeutic exercise programs to enhance patient recovery.
  • Mobility Training: Skilled in conducting mobility improvement sessions that help restore patient independence and functionality.
  • Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Ability to effectively collaborate with a healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Documentation: Adept at maintaining detailed records of patient progress and rehabilitation effectiveness to ensure continuity of care.
  • Empathy and Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to support and encourage patients through the rehabilitation process.
  • Problem-solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to evaluate and adjust rehabilitation plans as necessary to achieve best outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to establish baseline metrics and rehabilitation needs.
  • Design and implement effective rehabilitation plans personalized to each patient's condition and goals.
  • Lead therapeutic exercise sessions aimed at improving health conditions and promoting recovery.
  • Offer mobility training sessions to patients to enhance their autonomy and physical functioning.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care and versatile treatment approaches.
  • Document patient progress meticulously to track improvements and refine rehabilitation strategies as needed.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families to promote understanding and engagement in the rehabilitation process.
  • Continuously update knowledge on rehabilitation best practices and emerging therapies to ensure high-quality care delivery.
