Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Adobe AEM Developer/Lead
with 10–12 years of hands-on development experience in implementing full-cycle AEM projects. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in AEM architecture, components, workflows, integrations, and performance troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to end-to-end Adobe AEM/CQ5 project implementations.
  • Architect, design, and develop solutions using the AEM technology stack, Sling framework, and OSGi (Apache Felix).
  • Create and implement AEM building blocks such as templates, components, dialogs, widgets, pages, experience fragments, and OSGi bundles.
  • Work with AEM Digital Asset Management (DAM), custom and OOTB workflows, Multi-Site Manager (MSM), and dispatcher configurations (filters, cache rules, mapping rules).

  • Integrate AEM with third-party systems, APIs, databases, and internal enterprise platforms using:

  • Frontend: AJAX, cookies, client libraries

  • Backend: Servlets, OSGi services, Sling models

  • Troubleshoot and debug complex platform issues including performance bottlenecks, memory/heap problems, and throughput challenges.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, backend, and DevOps for seamless delivery.
  • Apply best practices for AEM development, deployment, caching, and security.
  • Review code, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
  • Participate in SDLC phases such as requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10–12 years of strong experience in Adobe AEM/CQ5 development.

  • In-depth knowledge of:

  • AEM architecture and technology stack

  • Sling web framework
  • Apache Felix OSGi framework
  • AEM Dispatcher, caching layers, and mapping rules

  • DAM, workflows (custom & OOTB), MSM

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • Templates, components, dialogs, widgets

  • Clientlibs, Experience Fragments (XF)

  • AEM bundles and OSGi services

  • Strong backend development skills using Java, Servlets, Sling Models, and OSGi.

  • Experience integrating AEM with external systems, APIs, and enterprise data sources.
  • Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
  • Ability to analyze heap dumps, thread dumps, and performance logs for troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
