Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Adobe AEM Manager
to lead development, support, and maintenance of AEM-based web platforms. The ideal candidate will have
hands-on experience with AEM 6.x**
, strong technical expertise in Java, front-end frameworks, and cloud platforms, and a proven ability to manage application support, incident resolution, and platform enhancements in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for AEM authoring, publishing, and dispatcher environments.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents related to AEM Sites, Assets, workflows, replication, and user access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AEM components, templates, and OSGi configurations.
  • Support deployment activities and validate post-deployment functionality.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and alerts to ensure platform stability.
  • Handle user management, permissions, and access-related requests.
  • Escalate complex issues to L3/Engineering teams with detailed analysis.
  • Document root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom AEM components, templates, workflows using Sling, OSGi, and JCR APIs.
  • Develop and support RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party systems and Adobe Marketing Cloud services.
  • Perform AEM upgrades, patching, dispatcher configurations, and performance tuning.
  • Implement solutions using Adobe AEM 6.x and migrate to AEM as a Cloud Service where applicable.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support CI/CD processes using Git, Jenkins, and Adobe Cloud Manager for deployments.

Mandatory Skills / Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe AEM 6.x (Sites, Assets) and knowledge of JCR, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), Apache Felix Console.
  • Proficiency in Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and client-side frameworks (React/Angular – desirable).
  • Experience with dispatcher configuration, cache management, and AEM security models.
  • Familiarity with Adobe I/O, AEM Forms, or other Adobe Experience Cloud tools is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps / CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Adobe Cloud Manager).
  • Working knowledge of log monitoring tools (Splunk, Kibana) and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and AEM as a Cloud Service is desirable.
