Job Title: Business Development Executive (EV Industry)
Experience Level: 1–5 years (EV or related industry preferred)
Role Overview:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth in the Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical understanding of EV solutions, and a passion for clean mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the EV sector (e.g., charging stations, fleet electrification, EV sales, or battery swapping solutions).
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders — OEMs, fleet operators, government agencies, real estate developers, and corporate clients.
- Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, events, and digital channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Participate in exhibitions, EV conferences, and industry events to promote the company's offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and client interactions in the CRM system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of EV market dynamics, charging infrastructure, and related technologies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.
- Passion for sustainability and green technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B sales for EV charging or fleet electrification projects.
- Understanding of government EV policies, subsidies, and incentive schemes.
- Existing network in the EV ecosystem.
