Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support the daily operations of our lawyer's chamber. The role involves assisting with drafting, case preparation, documentation, client coordination, and ensuring smooth functioning of the chamber.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents, petitions, notices, agreements, and case summaries under the guidance of the advocate.
  • Maintain and organize case files, briefs, and legal records.
  • Assist in legal research and preparation of arguments/materials.
  • Manage appointments, court schedules, and filing deadlines.
  • Handle chamber correspondence, emails, and client communications.
  • Ensure timely filing and submission of legal documents.
  • Keep the chamber well-organized, with updated files and references.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate (Law or related field preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant/paralegal preferred.
  • Strong drafting and documentation skills in English (knowledge of local language an advantage).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, legal databases, and online filing systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹100, ₹200,000.00 per year
