We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Account Assistant to support our accounting department with day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial records, processing invoices, handling petty cash, and supporting budgeting and reporting activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting operations.

Roles and Responsibility

Financial Transactions & Data Entry

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices.

2. Account Reconciliation

  • Reconcile bank statements with internal records.
  • Assist in monthly and year-end account closing procedures.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable balances.

3. Support Financial Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Help generate financial summaries and cost analysis.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all financial transactions are in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Organize and maintain proper filing of financial documents for auditing purposes.
  • Assist with GST, TDS, and other tax filing processes.

5. Administrative & Support Functions

  • Handle petty cash and employee reimbursements.
  • Coordinate with other departments for invoice approvals and payment processing.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
