- Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients (food manufacturing plants, catering companies, restaurants, etc.) who require HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) implementation, Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) training, or general food safety management systems.
- Visits to Food Production Units: This is the core activityconducting walk-throughs and initial assessments of hygiene and safety gaps to build a compelling business case for their services.
- Discuss and understand the client's specific products, processes, and existing hazards.
- A key part of their canvas is promoting and initiating Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), which are the prerequisite programs for HACCP. This includes initial discussions and recommendations on:
- Canvassing Tip: Use the on-site visit to point out visible GHP issues that demonstrate the immediate need for their service.
- Act as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle.
- Close deals through persuasive communication.
- Meet sales targets consistently.
- Generate leads through networking and cold calls.
