About the Role:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced
Payroll Executive
to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure full compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will handle payroll accuracy, statutory filings, and employee queries efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Handle end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Validate input data such as attendance, leave records, overtime, new joiners, and exits.
- Manage salary disbursements, arrears, reimbursements, and full & final settlements.
- Maintain updated employee payroll records and ensure proper documentation.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure accurate computation and timely deposit of statutory contributions (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax, etc.).
- Prepare and file all statutory returns and challans within due timelines.
- Maintain compliance records and support audits (internal/external) as required.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll laws, taxation, and compliance norms.
Reporting & Coordination:
- Generate monthly payroll MIS reports and dashboards for management.
- Reconcile payroll data with finance and HR teams.
- Address employee payroll-related queries promptly and professionally.
- Liaise with statutory authorities, auditors, and vendors when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, HR, or a related field.
- 1-4years of experience in payroll processing and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll and statutory regulations.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software (SAP, ADP, GreytHR, Keka, or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivots, formulas, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in multi-location payroll.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
