Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the client CISO and CIO in developing an IT/IS control library covering Access Management, Cloud Security, Data and Records, Security Monitoring, Data Privacy, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Review policies, procedures, and key operating documents to rationalize controls and identify potential treatments for control definitions.
  • Perform Control Design Adequacy Assessments to identify controls requiring remediation and ensure compliance with industry best practices (e.g., COBIT, NIST).
  • Facilitate workshops with Control Design Owners to discuss design gaps and determine appropriate remediation actions.
  • Enhance Control Definitions through the Control Design Adequacy Assessment Process by designing new security controls aligned with industry standards and banking requirements.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in risk management and control design
  • Knowledge of Information Security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST)
  • Ability to perform control design adequacy assessments and recommend remediations
  • Experience in developing IT/IS control libraries
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Certifications: ISO 27001, CRISC, CISA (mandatory), CISSP (desirable)
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Education:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 4-6 years in Risk Management, control design, and implementation, preferably with global banking clients. ISO 27001, CRISC, or CISA certification is mandatory; CISSP certification is desirable.
